Fausto Pizzoccheri – Founder
There are stories that arise by chance, that rise with the ingredients of passion, commitment and the pursuit of quality. Like the story of Fausto Pizzoccheri, a young descendant of bakers family. In 1961, at the age of 21, with a bit of recklessness and a lot of will, he started his first business in his family shop, producing and selling “tortellini and gnocchi”.
From white art to the most advanced technologies
White art is his first love and he soon learned about the mysterious alchemy that governs the relationship between flour, fire and processing times. Details that still make the difference.
From a small laboratory to the world
In 1964 Fausto took over a small food company called Piuma d’Oro. The name seems perfect to define the idea of quality that Fausto has always had in his mind. After exploring all the secrets of pasta, the company progressively specializes in making carnival sweets. Success is immediate; the secret is simple: to preserve the traditional recipes, keeping the taste and flavor unaltered, using technology to constantly develop the fragrance and food quality.
A single winning philosophy for three generations
When Fausto leaves the leadership of Piuma d’Oro to his sons Federico and Fulvio, the solid and constantly evolving company strengthens its leadership in the sweets sector with carnival chatter, which it distributes in Italy and in the rest of the world.
Quality is a matter of taste
Respect for traditional recipes has always been a guideline for Piuma d’Oro production. Keeping the scent, aroma and crunchiness that match people tastes is a real topical mission for Piuma D’Oro, renewed every day through meticolous quality controls over all production lines.
