The food company Piuma d’Oro was born
in 1964 thanks to Fausto Pizzoccheri’s
resolute entrepreneurial cleverness. He was born in Borghetto
Lodigiano. His family of bakers had been handing down the
trade from generation to generation, and Fausto too
will be fond of the white art and its products.
He began working as subordinate in a bakery which supplied
many shops in the surroundings, and in the confidence and
relationship ability he learned to recognize the bond of
warranty and continuity between the entrepreneur, the customer
and the collaborators’ productiveness.
In 1961, when he was 21, he set up his own production and
sale activity of tortellini and gnocchi at his family’s
shop in Spino d’Adda.
In 1964, with a limited budget, he took over a small food
company named Piuma d’Oro, in Via
Milano, in Treviglio.
To save money he kept the equipment of the firm and the
company’s name, which will be perfect to define the
future products’ image. The company’s philosophy
will always be to work out its own recipes from the tradition
of taste and flavours, unchangingly balancing their fragrance
and food quality, distinctive features of acknowledged success
and fame.
In 1967 he married Misses Maria, who will
later give him two sons, Federico and Fulvio.
The Piuma d’Oro products had a big
success and the company began to develop buying new and
more and more modern productive plants.
The unchanged quality of the home’s ancient recipes
is preserved by the owner Fausto Pizzoccheri’s
unvaried care, who introduced accurate changes in the productive
equipment which was planned on purpose, the company’s
property and warranty of the distinctive mark of the company’s
products.
The company reinforced its leadership in the field through
the production of the chiacchiere, typical
regional celebration sweet, a speciality that Piuma
d’Oro has been able to spread on both the
whole national and international market.
The company has got so high a level of quality to have
the supply prevailed by the demand, with the result of an
accurate choice of customers.
Plans to introduce new products - so that to complete the
annual productive cycle - have already been worked out by
the administrative department, which now has the first son Federico’s
operative contribution - who attends to it and to the Piuma
d’Oro’s communication, image and development
departments – and the second son Fulvio’s
contribution, who organizes the production and the correct
working of the very modern, automatic and computerized firm
equipment.
Since its birth the Pizzoccheri’s
entrepreneurial business has been distinguishing itself
thanks to the fully respect of quality and the genuineness
of the products and the transparency of the production services.
Rules that customers have always acknowledged. Faithful
to its original principles, Piuma d’Oro – as
a big company – is resolute in respecting the laws
in force in the food field, which now have become the providers’ standard
of selection, too. Satisfying the customers’ needs
of information, taking care of the quality and the preservation
of the products’ original taste are still some of
the Piuma d’Oro’s aims and
the reason for its uninterrupted development.
There are men who have success thanks to their factual
works, men for whom work is an engagement through which
they fully express their vigour, their ideas’ modernity,
their common sense, the simple joy in encouraging enterprises. Pizzoccheri belongs
to this group of active entrepreneurs. He belongs to a group
of economic agents who work hard, face sacrifices and who,
completely committing themselves, step by step succeed in
offering an initiative which has conquered many costumers’ confidence,
and for this reason he has felt spurred to do even better,
really trying to satisfy every possible demand. |
